Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350 degrees F and let it heat up. Get two big baking trays ready by covering them with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
  2. In a spacious mixing bowl, blend the softened butter with the powdered sugar until creamy. Gradually incorporate the all-purpose flour and keep mixing until you achieve a soft dough (expect it to be crumbly initially, but continue mixing until it comes together). Shape the dough into a uniform ball using your hands.
  3. Flatten the dough to a quarter-inch thickness on a surface lightly covered with flour or powdered sugar, using a rolling pin that is also dusted. Cut out circular shapes and arrange them on the prepped baking trays. Repeat this process as needed.
  4. Place in the oven and bake for 16-18 minutes, or until the biscuits have a light golden hue. Allow them to cool while still on the baking trays.
