30 Minute Dinner Rolls

Description

These quick and easy dinner rolls are fluffy, golden-brown, and perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast in a stand mixer and let it proof for 2-5 minutes.
  2. Add the vegetable oil, salt, egg, and flour one cup at a time.
  3. Mix with the stand mixer until the dough is combined.
  4. Let the mixer knead the dough for about 4 minutes.
  5. Shape the dough into 15 individual balls.
  6. Place the balls in a prepared baking dish and cover with a dish towel.
  7. Preheat your oven to 375°F and let the dough rise while the oven heats.
  8. Bake the rolls for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter before serving.

Notes

For added sweetness, consider adding more sugar or honey. Experiment with herbs for additional flavor.
