Instructions
- Set your oven to 325 °F to warm up.
- Prepare a baking tray by covering it with parchment paper and keep it ready.
- In a medium bowl, sift together the cornstarch and confectioners sugar, then stir in the flour until the mixture is uniform.
- Incorporate the butter using two forks or a rubber spatula until a soft dough is achieved.
- Scoop out the dough using a 1 tablespoon measure and form it into balls by rolling between your hands. Position them on the prepared baking tray, ensuring a distance of at least 2 inches between each.
- Gently press down on the dough balls with the palm of your hand to flatten them slightly. Use a fork to press down further on the cookies.
- If desired, sprinkle your choice of colorful decorations on top of each cookie.
- Place in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges begin to show a hint of browning. Once done, take them out and let them sit on the tray for 5 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
