Description
A quick and easy casserole made with ground beef, pasta shells, and creamy tomato soup, this dish is a comforting favorite that pleases the whole family.

- 1 lb medium pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 (10 oz) cans of tomato soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup water
- Garlic, powder or fresh, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook and drain the pasta according to the package directions.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown and chop the ground beef, seasoning with garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta, tomato soup, water, and half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese to the skillet with the beef. Stir and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the mixture into your greased baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes. For an extra touch, turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes to brown the cheese.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For added flavor, consider incorporating vegetables like spinach or bell peppers. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
