- 3 cups buttercream frosting
- Red food coloring

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-inch round pizza pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
- Divide frosting into three portions. Leave one white, color one red, and one blue.
- Decorate in a patriotic pattern using piping bags or offset spatulas. Add sprinkles if desired.

- For a more festive look, use red, white, and blue chocolate chips instead of regular chocolate chips.
