- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups mashed potatoes

- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, adding the chopped onion and mushrooms until softened. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the beef mixture on the bottom, followed by a layer of mashed potatoes on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until heated through and slightly golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, use freshly made mashed potatoes. Consider adding cheese during the last few minutes of baking for a gooey crust.
