- 1 pie crust 9-inch, baked and cooled or make your own crust
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) creamy peanut butter
- 4 ounce (380 g) box of instant Jell-O vanilla pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cup (360 ml) s milk
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) peanut butter
- 1 cup (240 ml) whipped cream or 1 cup (240 ml) of cool whip
- 2 cup (480 ml) s whipped cream or 1– 8 oz (128 g). container of cool whip for topping. If making whipped cream, using mixer, whip together on medium-high 1 cup (240 ml) of whipping cream and 3 tablespoon (45 ml) s of powdered sugar to get whipped cream texture. 1 cup (240 ml) of whipping cream makes 2 cup (480 ml) s when whipped.
Instructions
- Utilizing an electric mixer, combine the powdered sugar with the peanut butter in a medium-sized bowl.
- Blend on medium until small clusters of peanut butter begin to form.
- If the blend appears too dry, add a few drops of water to help create larger clusters.
- Layer half of the peanut butter clusters on the base of the pie crust.
- In another bowl, use the mixer to combine the instant vanilla pudding mix, milk, and peanut butter for 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the already prepared whipped cream.
- Spread the pudding mixture over the peanut butter clusters in the pie crust.
- Cover the top with whipped cream.
- Sprinkle the remaining peanut butter clusters (or as many as preferred) over the whipped cream layer.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1-2 hours to allow it to set before slicing.
