Instructions

- Stir in the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until everything melds together.
- Fold in the chopped apples and nuts, if desired, incorporating them evenly into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the center sets and the top turns golden brown.
