  • – 3/4 cup (180 ml) granulated white sugar
  • – 1/3 cup (80 ml) vegetable oil

  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) vanilla extract
  • – 1 cup + 2 tablespoons (140 g) all-purpose flour
  • – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) cinnamon
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) baking soda
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) baking powder
  • – 1 cup (225 g) beef, shredded
  • – 1 cup (225 g) apple, shredded
  • – Turbinado sugar for sprinkling on tops

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350°F and prepare a muffin tin with 12 liners, then place it to the side.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla, and whisk until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Gently mix in the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and baking powder until just incorporated.
  4. Incorporate the shredded beef and apple into the mixture by folding them in.
