A delightful homemade apple spice jam perfect for spreading on toast or using in baking. This recipe combines fresh apples with warm spices for a comforting preserve.

- 4 lbs fresh apples, peeled and chopped
- 4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 package pectin
Instructions
- Prepare and sterilize canning jars and lids
- Chop apples and combine with lemon juice in a large pot
- Add sugar and spices, stirring to combine
- Bring mixture to a rolling boil, stirring constantly
- Add pectin and boil for 1 minute
- Remove from heat and skim off any foam
- Ladle into prepared jars and process in water bath

- Make sure to use sterilized jars and lids for safe preservation
- Store in a cool, dark place
- Once opened, keep refrigerated
