  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup zesty sauce (like ranch or a spicy aioli)
  • Wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cabbage, carrots, green onions, cheese, cilantro, and zesty sauce.
  3. Take a wonton wrapper, place a spoonful of the filling in the center, and fold into a taco shape, sealing the edges.
  4. Fry the wontons in hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels, season with salt and pepper, and serve warm.
