Ingredients
- Spaghetti (or preferred pasta)
- Pecorino Romano cheese, freshly grated
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- Salt (for boiling water)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente.
- Reserve some pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- In a large skillet over low heat, combine the hot pasta with grated Pecorino Romano cheese and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Add reserved pasta water a little at a time until a creamy sauce forms.
- Toss well to combine and serve immediately.
Notes
Using freshly cracked black pepper and grating the cheese just before cooking enhances flavor. Adjust pepper and cheese amounts to taste.
