Description
Delightful comfort food wrapped in fluffy biscuit dough, combining all the elements of a classic cheeseburger.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Pickle slices (optional, for serving)
- Ketchup and mustard, for dipping
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain any excess grease, then stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Separate the biscuit dough into individual rounds. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands. Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each biscuit round. Carefully fold the dough around the filling, pinching to seal and forming a small ball.
- Place the sealed biscuit bombs seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each bomb with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, and pickle slices on the side for dipping, if desired.
Notes
Experiment with different fillings such as mushrooms or jalapeños for a unique twist. Allow the filling to cool slightly before assembly to prevent sogginess.
