- 12 large jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 slices bacon, cut in half
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes using a spoon. Wear gloves to avoid irritation.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture evenly into each jalapeño half.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a half-slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place the wrapped jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
