Instructions
- Freeze mozzarella sticks for about 30 minutes to help them hold their shape during cooking.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut each bacon slice in half.
- Wrap each mozzarella stick tightly with a piece of bacon, ensuring complete coverage.
- Place the wrapped sticks seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Prepare your breading station: In the first bowl, add flour; in the second, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, mix Italian breadcrumbs with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
- Roll each bacon-wrapped mozzarella stick in the flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and coat it with the seasoned breadcrumbs. Ensure they are well-coated.
- Arrange the breaded sticks on the baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon becomes crispy and the cheese starts to melt.
- Let them cool for a minute before garnishing with chopped parsley. Serve with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
