  • 6 oz (170 g) cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) yogurt
  • 6 oz (170 g) cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Collect all necessary items.
  2. In a large pot, bring lightly salted water to a boil. Add the dry pasta and cook until it’s firm to the bite, approximately 8 minutes; then drain.
  3. While the pasta cooks, brown the lean ground beef and chopped onion in a large pan over medium heat; mix in the tomato sauce and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Place half of the cooked pasta in the bottom of the greased dish.
  5. Layer with slices of cheddar cheese.
  6. Spread yogurt over the cheese.
  7. Add half of the meat sauce, the remaining pasta, shredded cheddar cheese, and the rest of the meat sauce. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven until everything is heated through and the cheeses are melted, about 30 minutes.
