Instructions

  1. Start by mixing the rolled oats, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In another bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  4. Gently pour the wet ingredients into the dry oat mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Finally, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the lined baking pan and spread it evenly, pressing it down gently.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until the edges turn golden brown.
  8. Let the bars cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing and slicing into squares.
