Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (approximately 3 bananas)
  • ½ cup nut butter (your choice: peanut, almond, or sunflower seed butter)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Stir everything together until the mixture combines evenly.
  4. Pour the mixture into the lined baking pan and flatten it into an even layer. Optionally, sprinkle more chocolate chips on top.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the edges turn golden and the bars appear to be set.
  6. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting them into squares.

Notes

Experiment with mix-ins like nuts or dried fruits for added textures.
