- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce (or another 1/4 cup nut butter)
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed or chia seeds (optional, for added fiber)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mash the bananas until smooth, leaving a few chunks for texture.
- Mix the dry ingredients: protein powder, oats, cinnamon, ground flaxseed/chia, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients by adding the dry mixture to the mashed bananas.
- Stir in the nut butter, applesauce, vanilla extract, and optional add-ins.
- Scoop the dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
