Ingredients

  • – Dough for one large pizza
  • – 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) cooked beef, shredded or about 2 chicken breasts
  • – 2 cups (480 ml) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • – 1/2 cup (120 ml) barbecue sauce
  • – 1/4 large red onion, very thinly sliced
  • – fresh cilantro to taste

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 450 degrees F and partially bake the pizza base for 6 minutes.
  2. Apply a thin coat of barbecue sauce over the partially baked crust. Layer some mozzarella cheese and thinly sliced red onion on top.
  3. In a bowl, mix the shredded cooked beef or chicken with a few spoonfuls of barbecue sauce. Distribute the coated meat evenly over the pizza.
  4. Scatter another light layer of cheese over everything, and add chopped cilantro according to your preference.
