Ingredients
- – Dough for one large pizza
- – 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) cooked beef, shredded or about 2 chicken breasts
- – 2 cups (480 ml) shredded mozzarella cheese
- – 1/2 cup (120 ml) barbecue sauce
- – 1/4 large red onion, very thinly sliced
- – fresh cilantro to taste
Instructions
- Set your oven to 450 degrees F and partially bake the pizza base for 6 minutes.
- Apply a thin coat of barbecue sauce over the partially baked crust. Layer some mozzarella cheese and thinly sliced red onion on top.
- In a bowl, mix the shredded cooked beef or chicken with a few spoonfuls of barbecue sauce. Distribute the coated meat evenly over the pizza.
- Scatter another light layer of cheese over everything, and add chopped cilantro according to your preference.
- Place in the oven and bake at 450 F for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust turns golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

- For a lighter pizza, opt for grilled chicken breast instead of beef.
