Ingredients

  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet and brown meat in batches. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté mushrooms and onions until golden.
  4. Add garlic and flour, cooking for 1 minute.
  5. Slowly add beef broth, stirring constantly.
  6. Return meat to pan and simmer until sauce thickens.
  7. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in room temperature sour cream.
  9. Serve over noodles, garnished with parsley.
