- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, Italian seasoning, and cooked noodles.
- Combine the beef mixture with the noodle mixture; season with salt and pepper.
- Spread half of the mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Layer half of the Cheddar cheese over the mixture.
- Top with the remaining noodle and beef mixture, and finish with the remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Allow the dish to rest for a few minutes after baking.
