- 1 package of egg roll wrappers
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic, green onions, shredded cabbage, and carrots; stir-fry until tender.
- If using, add cooked meat and soy sauce, mixing well.
- Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
- Moisten the edges with water, fold over, and roll tightly to seal.
- In a deep skillet, heat oil to 375°F (190°C) and fry the egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.
