Ingredients
- Rice paper wrappers
- Lean ground beef or turkey
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Pickles
- Cheddar cheese (shredded)
- Onion (finely chopped)
- Thousand Island dressing or a tangy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the lean protein in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Prepare the rice paper wrappers by soaking them in warm water until pliable.
- Lay out a wrapper and place a small amount of cooked protein and a variety of veggies (lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, cheese) in the center.
- Drizzle with Thousand Island dressing.
- Fold in the sides of the wrapper and roll it up tightly.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Serve with extra sauce for dipping.
Notes
Keep rice paper wrappers damp with a towel to prevent them from drying out. Try adding sesame seeds for extra crunch.
