- 1 pound beef, sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 1 cup green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup red bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the sliced onions and peppers, and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Add black pepper and water, stirring to combine and create a sauce.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes before serving hot.
Notes
Serve over steamed rice or noodles. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds for an appealing presentation.
