- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the oat base.
- Evenly distribute the blueberries over the cream cheese filling.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the blueberries.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
For serving, dust with powdered sugar and pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container.
