Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper until the mixture is smooth.
- Add sweet potato slices and toss to coat evenly.
- Transfer the sweet potatoes to a baking dish and pour remaining sauce over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until tender and caramelized.
