Description
A delightful dish that perfectly balances sweet and savory flavors with succulent chicken and tangy pineapple sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag, pour the marinade over them, and seal the bag. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, ideally overnight.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and season it with salt and pepper.
- Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a smoky depth, grill the chicken; for caramelization, cook in a skillet. Always marinate longer for deeper flavor.
