Description
A delicious blend of creamy cheese, seasoned steak, and rigatoni pasta with a kick from Cajun spices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), cut into strips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak strips and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes, then remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Cajun seasoning and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Return the steak to the skillet and add the cooked rigatoni. Toss to combine and heat through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider reducing the heavy cream or cheese, and add sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for balance.
