Ingredients

  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), cut into strips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak strips and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes, then remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Cajun seasoning and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Return the steak to the skillet and add the cooked rigatoni. Toss to combine and heat through.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider reducing the heavy cream or cheese, and add sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for balance.
