Ingredients
Scale
- 200 g ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 200 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 300 g fettuccine or penne pasta
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Lemon wedges (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the Pasta: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Prepare the Steak: Toss the thinly sliced steak with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked to your preference. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook the Shrimp: Toss the shrimp with the remaining Cajun seasoning. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until they are cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the skillet, melt the unsalted butter. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, then add the heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with additional Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing until well coated. Fold in the steak and shrimp, ensuring every piece is enveloped in the creamy deliciousness.
- Serve: Dish out the rich pasta to plates and garnish with fresh parsley, red pepper flakes, and lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
