- 1 baguette, sliced into 12 rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
- 2 ripe yellow peaches, thinly sliced
- 8 oz fresh burrata cheese
- 6 slices prosciutto, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 2 teaspoons honey
- Flaky sea salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush baguette slices with olive oil and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Toast crostini in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp. Allow to cool slightly.
- Tear the burrata into pieces and spread onto each crostini.
- Top each crostini with 1-2 peach slices.
- Drape half a slice of prosciutto over each crostini.
- Garnish with torn basil leaves.
- Drizzle with honey and a small amount of olive oil.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- If desired, add a light drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
- Use the ripest peaches you can find for the best flavor.
- Can be made with nectarines instead of peaches.
- For a vegetarian version, omit the prosciutto.
- Best served immediately after assembling.
