- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 3 cups beef broth
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: diced tomatoes, bell peppers, or other vegetables
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
- Stir in rice, beef broth, and any optional vegetables. Season with salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender.
- Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, you can use beef broth infused with herbs. Experiment with different cheeses for variety.
