- 2 lbs russet potatoes, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the ranch seasoning, sour cream, melted butter, milk, minced garlic, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Add the sliced potatoes, sausage, and diced onion to the mixture. Gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley, black pepper, and paprika before serving.
