Description

A comforting and creamy cheesy sausage pasta dish that brings warmth and joy to your dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 lb sausage (your choice)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (such as mozzarella and cheddar)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage, breaking it into pieces, and cook until browned and fully cooked through.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking until fragrant for about one minute.
  4. Lower the heat, add the heavy cream, and stir until combined.
  5. Gradually add the cheese, mixing well, allowing it to melt and create a creamy sauce.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Reserve a cup of pasta cooking water before draining, which can help adjust the sauce’s consistency if needed.
