Description

Delightful cheesy taco sticks made with tortillas, ground meat, and a medley of flavors that create the perfect snack for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • Tortillas
  • Ground beef or turkey
  • Taco seasoning
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa
  • Oil (for frying)
  • Chopped onions (optional)
  • Chopped bell peppers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and a little water, cook until thickened.
  3. Lay out a tortilla and place some of the meat mixture in the center, add cheese, and any optional ingredients.
  4. Roll the tortilla tightly to enclose filling.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the tortilla rolls until golden on all sides.
  6. Serve with sour cream and salsa.

Notes

Warm the tortillas slightly before rolling to prevent cracking.
