  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, and flour. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
