Ingredients

  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until golden.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their juice.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the chicken breasts in another skillet until golden and cooked through.
  7. Serve the chicken breasts topped with the mushroom sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Allow chicken to rest at room temperature for even cooking. For a thicker sauce, simmer longer; for a lighter sauce, add a splash of chicken broth.
