Ingredients

  • – 3 cups (720 ml) cooked white rice
  • – 2 eggs, beaten
  • – 6 ounces (170 g) beef boneless
  • – 1 ½ cups (225 g) frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, green peas, and corn)
  • – 1 onion, minced
  • – 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) vegetable oil
  • – Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • – 1 tablespoon (15 ml) beef-friendly sauce
  • – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) soy sauce
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef into small chunks. Place it in a bowl and coat with the beef-friendly sauce. Stir thoroughly and put aside.
  2. Warm the oil in a skillet. Cook the beaten eggs until set, then remove them from the pan. Cut the eggs into pieces and set them aside.
  3. With the remaining oil (add more if necessary), cook the minced garlic and onion until fragrant.
  4. Once the onion becomes tender, add the marinated beef. Stir-cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Introduce the frozen mixed vegetables and continue stir-cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Incorporate the cooked rice, ensuring all components are well mixed. Keep cooking for 3 more minutes.
  7. Adjust the flavor with salt and ground black pepper as desired.
  8. Move the dish to a serving plate and serve right away.

Notes

  • For a healthier twist, swap white rice for brown rice to boost fiber and nutrients.
  • Add colorful veggies like bell peppers or broccoli for extra nutrition and vibrancy.
  • Infuse more beefy flavor by marinating the meat longer in a savory sauce.
