Ingredients

- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder

- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla paste
- 3 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the white sugar, brown sugar, canola oil, vanilla paste, and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before serving.
Notes
For added decadence, consider adding chocolate chips to the batter. Serve with fresh berries or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
