  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla paste
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the white sugar, brown sugar, canola oil, vanilla paste, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool before serving.

Notes
