Description

Delightfully warm and gooey chocolate chip cookies, perfect for sharing and creating memories.


Ingredients

  • 110g unsalted butter, melted
  • 150g light brown sugar
  • 115g granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200g plain flour
  • ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 200g chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, bicarbonate of soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking tray.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For chewier cookies, chill your dough for 30 minutes before baking. Experiment with different types of chocolate chips.
