Ingredients

Instructions
- Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract
- Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Chill dough for at least 2 hours
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Drop rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring
