  • 1 cup (240 ml) all purpose flour
  • 1 cup (240 ml) quick rolled oats or regular rolled oats
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) baking powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp (3 ml) salt
  • 1 cup (240 ml) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 400°F. Prepare muffin tins by either lining them with paper cups or lightly coating them with oil; set them aside.
  2. In a big bowl, mash the bananas, then add the oil, yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix them thoroughly.
  3. Add the flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the wet mixture, and stir until everything is well blended. Gently add the chocolate chips to the mix.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tins, using about 1/4 cup for each muffin. Bake for 18-20 minutes, until the tops are beautifully golden.
