- 3/4 cup (180 ml) s whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cup (360 ml) semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
- 1 Devil’s Food cake mix
- 1 4 oz (113 g). chocolate fudge instant pudding pie filling
- 1 1/4 cup (300 ml) water
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
Instructions
- In a saucepan, warm up the whipping cream until it’s hot but not boiling. Mix in the chocolate chips and stir until they are completely melted and smooth. Place in the refrigerator for an hour to let it thicken, stirring every so often.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a cupcake or muffin pan by greasing and dusting it with flour. In a mixer, combine the cake mix, pudding, water, oil, and eggs. Blend on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour 1/3 cup of batter into each muffin cup. Add a tablespoon of ganache on top of the batter, using the back of a spoon to gently press it into the batter.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the tops bounce back when lightly touched.
- Allow to cool for one minute.
- Take them out of the pan and place them on a cooling rack or parchment paper. Let them cool for 10 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy with ice cream.
