Ingredients
- Butter
- Milk
- All-purpose flour
- Sugar
- Eggs
- Vanilla extract

Instructions
- Prepare vanilla and chocolate batters separately
- Layer batters alternately in a loaf pan
- Swirl with a knife for marble effect
- Bake until a toothpick comes out with few moist crumbs
- Cool before slicing
Notes
- Can be made dairy-free using plant-based butter and non-dairy milk
- A crack on top is normal and desirable
- Add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts if desired (walnuts, pecans, or hazelnuts)
- Check doneness with a toothpick or internal temperature of 200°F (93°C)
- Recipe can be doubled using two separate loaf pans
