- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 4 large eggs

- 1 cup heavy cream (for mousse)
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

- 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool completely before adding the mousse layer.
- For the mousse, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat, add in the chopped chocolate, and stir until smooth.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until well combined.
- Spread the mousse over the cooled brownies and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- For the ganache, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it simmers, then pour it over the chocolate and let it sit for a few minutes. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the ganache over the mousse layer and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate until the ganache is set. Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Allow the brownies to cool completely before layering to maintain distinct layers. For best results, refrigerate overnight.
