  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted (for the swirl)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened (for icing)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 12 tbsp milk (for icing)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the flour and salt—do not overmix.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until it looks like wet sand.
  5. Spread the blondie batter evenly in the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture over the top. Using a butter knife, gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the blondie batter.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out mostly clean.
  7. Cool completely before icing.
  8. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Mix until creamy. Drizzle over the cooled blondies.
