Ingredients

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- For filling: 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture
- Roll out dough, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar filling
- Roll dough into a log, chill, then slice and bake

- Make sure butter is at room temperature for best results
- Chill dough thoroughly before slicing for clean cuts
