Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups (10 oz/300g) sweetened shredded coconut
  • 7 ounces (225 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup (3 oz/90 g) chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
  3. Using a tablespoon-sized cookie dough scoop, scoop the mixture and pack it gently.
  4. Drop the scooped mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them for even baking.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until light golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a splash of vanilla extract. Experiment with different types of chocolate chips or dip in melted chocolate for a special touch.
