Description

A comforting and hearty casserole featuring ground beef, corn, creamy soup, and crispy tater tots.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 cup Corn (canned or frozen, drained)
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup (or homemade white sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (or fresh garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder (or chopped onions)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese (cheddar or cheese blend, or vegan cheese)
  • 32 oz Frozen Tater Tots (or hash browns)
  • 1 cup Milk (whole milk or non-dairy alternative)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef (or turkey) in a skillet over medium-high heat. Use a wooden spoon to break it into small pieces, cooking until it’s browned and cooked through.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet, if necessary.
  3. Stir in the corn, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  4. Pour in the milk and stir until everything is evenly coated and incorporated.
  5. Transfer the meat mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the meat mixture, evenly covering it.
  7. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the melted cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving to enhance the flavors.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh garlic or chopped onions while browning the meat. Customize with additional vegetables or different types of cheese.
