- 3/4 cup whole milk (180 ml)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (57 g)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 ml)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (60 g)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (25 g)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (60 ml)
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil (5 ml)
- 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles (80 g)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Grease a baking sheet or donut pan with vegetable oil.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared baking sheet or pan, filling each cavity about three-quarters full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
- In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
- Gradually add the heavy cream to the sugar-cocoa mixture, stirring until smooth to make the glaze.
- Once the donuts are cool, dip the tops into the glaze.
- Immediately sprinkle rainbow sprinkles on top of the glazed donuts.
- Let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving.
